What App should I download? Can it work on Android?
You can download the eufy app in Google Play (Android) or App Store (iOS). The eufy app is compatible with Android (5.0+) and iOS (11+) devices. Find more information in the article About eufy App.
Does this doorbell come with a warranty?
Yes. It comes with a 12-month warranty.
Will this work without the Internet?
Sorry that it needs the Internet to work.
Does it work with 5GHz wifi?
No, it doesn’t. It only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
What is the working temperature?
The working temperature for this doorbell is -4°F - 122°F (-20°C - 50°C).
Does this require a HomeBase?
No. The Wi-Fi chime can work as a "Tiny Homebase" to store your recordings. You have to purchase the SD card for recordings.
Is a Wi-Fi chime required for the doorbell to work?
Yes. The doorbell needs to connect to the wifi chime to work.
What is the difference between the 2K battery doorbell and the 1080P battery doorbell?
1) The 2K version can be hardwired, while the 1080P version cannot be hardwired.
2) The resolution is different (One is 2K resolution, another is 1080P resolution).
3) The HomeBase is different (The 1080P battery doorbell comes with a wifi chime).

Is it possible to have the doorbell linked to the second chime and other eufy HomeBase together?
Linking to a second chime or eufy HomeBase is a feature that we are evaluating.
Do I need to buy a separate SD card? If so, what is the maximum supported capacity for the SD card that can be used?
This video doorbell doesn’t include an SD card. Users need to purchase one separately or use their spare micro-SD card. The supposed capacity is up to 128GB, which is more than enough to store 90-day history.
Where do I insert the Micro SD card?
The micro-SD card slot is on the side of the WiFi doorbell chime. So that your videos are stored inside your house.
Where can I buy an add-on doorbell? Do you have a 1080P add-on doorbell?
The eufy video doorbell 2K (battery-powered) add-on is available on Amazon. The 1080P add-on doorbell is not available to purchase.
Can this doorbell be paired to HomeBase 2?
Yes, it can.
Does it support Amazon Alexa/Google Nest Hub?

Does it support Homekit?
No, it doesn’t.
How long can the video be stored?
It varies on the doorbell usage and memory card capacity. By using a 16GB micro-SD card, you can save up to 90-day history in topical usage, which is 30 events per day and 10 seconds each.
What will happen if the SD card is full?
Old videos will be overwritten when the SD card is full.
When Will the Wireless Chime be available for sale as a stand-alone purchase?
Sorry that the wireless chime is not available for sale as a stand-alone item. But we will consider the market needs. Hope we can make it soon.
Is this 1080P battery doorbell smaller than the 2K version or the same size?
The dimension of this 1080P battery doorbell is 5.2in x 1.8in x 1.1in, the same size as the 2K battery doorbell.
App Setup
Can I share my videos and photos with people?

Can my family members view the doorbell at the same time?
Yes, family members can view the doorbell or watch back history simultaneously.
Can I talk to the visitor via Alexa/Google?
You can view the live feed via Alexa/Google smart display. But you can’t talk to visitors.
Can you see the live view or recordings on the computer?
For Windows computer users, please access the web portal to view cameras on a desktop. History recordings on the web portal are not supported yet. However, cloud backup users are able to access their recorded videos via web portal.
What is the maximum range from the doorbell to Wi-Fi chime?
Usually, the Wi-Fi chime can be 20-30ft from the doorbell. The actual range will vary depending on a number of factors such as the thickness of walls, obstacles inside the house, and the location of the router.
If someone comes by when I am at work, can I talk to them and see them through the doorbell?
Yes, you can talk to someone who comes by when you are not at home using the eufy app.
Hardware Installation
Can you mount the doorbell without screwing it into the wall?
For security reasons, we suggest you mount the doorbell with screws.
Can the 1080P battery doorbell be hardwired to my existing chime?
The doorbell doesn’t work with the original mechanical or digital chime. But it comes with a smart WiFi doorbell chime that enables you to select seasonal chime tones and control volume via the App.
Does the 1080P battery doorbell have a battery? Can it be replaceable?
Yes, the battery doorbell has a built-in lithium 5000mAh battery. Sorry that the battery is irreplaceable, you can detach the doorbell from the wall and charge it via the USB cable provided. We do not sell separate batteries.
How long does it take to charge the battery?
If using 5V 1A, it takes about 6 hours to charge from 0% to 100%.
How long does the fully charged 1080P battery doorbell last?
In most common scenarios, a fully charged doorbell can last for 120-day. eufy battery doorbell test was done in the following conditions:
- Temperature: 68°F (20°C)
- 10 motion detections per day
- Recorded for 30 seconds each time motion was detected
- Standby power consumption was included during the usage time
Battery life varies, depending on the number of times motion is detected, recording time duration, and environmental temperatures.
