Before You Buy
Can 3rd party software access and record video from eufy doorbell?
No. eufy wired doorbell only works with the eufy app.
What type of phone do I need?
The eufy app works on Android 8.0+, iOS 11+.
Can this be used without a router?
It works as long as 2.4 GHz WiFi is available at your home. Learn more about Requirements for Using eufySecurity Devices.
What is the difference between 1080P wired doorbell and 2K wired doorbell?
The only difference is the image quality. One supports up to 2K (2560x1920) resolution. The other supports 1080P (1600x1200) resolution. Since this difference is hardware-related, you cannot upgrade the 1080P wired doorbell to a higher resolution via software update.
Can you view live video or recorded videos using a web browser on a desktop computer?
Yes. For Windows users, please access the web portal to view cameras on a desktop. Historical recordings on the web portal are not supported yet. However, cloud backup users are able to access their recorded videos via the web portal.
Can I use two of these, one for the front entry and the other for the side entry?

Does this doorbell need to have an existing doorbell?

Does your doorbell work with 5GHz Wi-Fi?
No. eufy wired doorbell only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Learn more about Requirements for Using eufySecurity Devices.
Will this work with the HomeBase I already have?
No. This wired doorbell is not compatible with the HomeBase at present. But we will work on the possibility of it.
Can this doorbell work to replace my existing wired doorbell?
Yes. You can bypass the existing chime wires to replace existing wired doorbells. Please download the quick start guide manual in the product download part for details.
Does this come with a Warranty?
Yes, it comes with a 12-month warranty.
What is the working temperature?
It works from -4°f (-20°C) to 122°F (50°c).
When I press the button will the existing doorbell sound work?
No, it is not compatible with your existing chime.

Does this doorbell have night vision?
Yes, this doorbell has an auto night version. Please enable it on the doorbell settings in the eufy app after setting it up successfully.
Does this record in color at night?
No, it records black and white at night.
Does the blue ring surrounding the bell button illuminate at night?

Can this send a notification to more than one phone at the same time?

Yes, you can make it in the app: Doorbell settings > Notification > Disable motion detection.

Does your doorbell work with HomeKit?
No. Our doorbell does not work with HomeKit.
Hardware Installation
How do I find someone to install this product?
The wired doorbell is easy to set up. You can install it by yourself by watching the step-by-step installation guide and videos on Youtube.
I lost my wireless chime. Can I buy a replacement?
Yes. You can purchase the add-on chime on our store. This chime can work for the 2K wired doorbell and the 1080P wired doorbell.
Where can I buy a transformer that is compatible with this unit?
The eufy wired doorbell requires 16-24VAC, 30VA or above voltage. You can purchase the doorbell transformer from other stores on Amazon.
How can I know if I have a proper voltage?

What is the distance the chime can be from the doorbell?
Normally the maximum distance is 50 meters with some barriers, such as a wall. In a line-of-sight and clean environment, it supports up to 100 meters.
