This article is designed to help you set up your eufyCam E in the eufySecurity app. For hardware installation, please download the Quick Start Guide for the eufyCam E from our help center.

 

Download the eufySecurity App

Download the eufySecurity app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices). You can also visit eufylife.com on your mobile device.

  

Create Your eufySecurity Account

After downloading the app, create or Log in to your account. Learn more about Sign Up for A eufySecurity Account.

  

Add HomeBase to the App

1. Tap Add Device then select HomeBase.

 

2. Follow the instructions on the “Add HomeBase” screen to power on the HomeBase and connect it to your home router using the provided Ethernet cable.

 

3. Tap Next and connect your smartphone to the same Wi-Fi router HomeBase is connected to.

 

4. Tap Next and wait 1 minute until HomeBase’s LED turns from Red to White. 

 

5. Tap Next and press the SYNC/ALARM OFF button for 2 seconds until you hear “HomeBase is ready for setup”, then the eufySecurity app will automatically discover the HomeBase.

 

6. After HomeBase is connected successfully, create a name for the HomeBase. Tap Finish to add eufyCam E.

 

Add eufyCam E to the HomeBase 

1. Tap Add Device then select "eufyCam E". 

 

2. Choose HomeBase as a base station, and connect the eufyCam E to the HomeBase you have successfully added in the previous step.

 

3. Press the SYNC button on the camera for 2 seconds until you hear a short beep.

 

4. Tap Next and the HomeBase will automatically discover the eufyCam E.

 

5. The eufyCam E will be added to the HomeBase successfully.

 

6. Create a name for the camera.
