Setting Up the SpaceView Baby Monitor

This guide is designed to help setting up the SpaceView Baby Monitor. For detailed information, please download SpaceView Baby Monitor’s user manual.

 

Charging the Monitor and the Camera

1. Fully charge the monitor using the micro USB cable (1.5m) and the adapter, which should take approximately 3.5 hours.

2. Connect the camera using the micro USB cable (3m) and the adapter. Please know the camera has to be plugged in at all times and it does not have an internal battery.

 

Adding a Camera to the Monitor

1. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn the baby monitor on.

2. Enter menu settings > Camera icon > Add Camera, then follow the onscreen instructions to start the pairing process.

3. Press and hold the pairing button on the rear of the camera for 1 second until a beep is heard.

 

Adding a Second Camera to the Monitor

A second camera can usually be added successfully following the instruction of “Adding a Camera to the Monitor”. If the camera cannot be added, it could be due to the firmware versions of the monitor and camera being different. Please update the firmware of the monitor and two cameras to v3.6.9.

 

1. Update the firmware of the monitor and two cameras to v3.6.9.

2. Pair the cameras and the monitor, please refer to “Adding a Camera to the Monitor”.

3. When 2 or more cameras are added, you can manually switch between cameras.

  • Press the OK button, the screen will switch to the next camera’s screen.
  • You can also select the “Cycle Camera” option. The screen cycles through the list of connected baby cameras according to the preset time intervals.

 

Placing the Camera (Wall Mount)

1. Use the monitor to test the viewing angle from your desired mounting spot.

2. Mark the screw holes with a pencil.

3. Drill 1/5” holes into the wall and then insert the anchors into the holes.

4. Insert the screws through the mounting holes of the wall mount and screw into the anchors.

5. Place the camera on the wall mount.
