If your Video Doorbell Dual is not consistently detecting events in front of the door, please try the following tips.

1. If you have set an Activity Zone, please ensure that the zone you have drawn covers the entire area of interest to avoid setting an incomplete activity zone. The images below show the correct and incorrect way to draw your Activity Zone.

2. Please extend the detection distance of both Motion Detection and Linger Detection. Steps: device tab> “...”icon> Settings > Dual Detection > Motion Detection/Linger Detection.

3. Choose the All Motion mode as the Detection Type. Steps: device tab> “...”icon> Settings > Dual Detection > Detection Type > All motion.

4. Adjust the doorbell's field of view: If there is a wall in the doorbell’s field of view, please use one or two 15° brackets (two brackets can be stacked).

If the issue persists, please contact us and provide us with the following information for further analysis.

1. A picture showing the activity zone if an activity zone is set up.

2. An exact time in the past 2-3 days when the doorbell missed some events, such as Mar. 24th 14:43. 

3. Upload App log via eufy app by selecting the avatar located at the top left corner of the app > Settings > About > Upload Log and authorize the device logs via Device logs > select devices and Authorize. Please refer to the attached pictures for a step-by-step guide to authorize your device logs.

Note: When you are watching the live view, the camera will stop detecting all motion and you will not receive any motion detection notifications.
