Video Smart Lock Failed to Find My WiFi During the Setup Process

If your Video Smart Lock cannot find your WiFi network during the setup process, please try the following troubleshooting steps to verify if the issue can be resolved.

 

1. Make sure your WiFi router is powered on.

 

2. Reset the Video Smart Lock and start a new setup process.

 

3. Move the Video Smart Lock closer to your router and refresh the WiFi list in the eufy Security app.

 

4.  Make sure your smartphone is connected to your WiFi router.

 

5. Make sure your router works properly and its network SSID is not hidden. If the network is hidden, simply select "Others" and enter the WiFi information manually.

 

6. Make sure the security protocol of your router is not set to WEP encryption. Please note that Video Smart Lock does not support WEP encryption, please set the security protocol to either WPA or WPA2 encryption.
