The Wi-Fi switch on the monitor is designed to protect your privacy and security.

• When Wi-Fi is turned on, the camera connects to your home router, allowing you to view the livestream through the Eufy Baby app and perform firmware updates for both the camera and monitor.

• When Wi-Fi is turned off, the camera communicates only with the monitor, keeping the connection local and offline. However, firmware updates will not occur while Wi-Fi is disabled.

To ensure the best performance and user experience, we recommend periodically enabling Wi-Fi to check for and install the latest firmware updates.

Once the update is complete, you can turn Wi-Fi off again for enhanced privacy.

Menu button (three horizontal lines) on the monitor → Camera Settings → Wi-Fi → Wi-Fi switch
