What should I do if my S1 Pro does not return to the base station?

If your S1 Pro has difficulty returning to its base station, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

Possible Cause 1: The base station is not powered on.

  • Solution: Please check if the power cord is plugged into a working wall outlet and verify the power switch is turned on.

Check the power cord on the back of the base station to ensure it is firmly connected. A loose connection can prevent the base station from receiving power.

Possible Cause 2: There is insufficient clearance around the base station.

  • Solution: Please move the base station to another location with enough space for the robot to navigate and return to the base station. Please note that the base station should have at least 1.5 meters of clearance in the front and 0.5 meters on each side.

Possible Cause 3: The robot's path to return to the base station is blocked by obstacles.

  • Solution: Clear any obstacles that may cause interference when the robot returns to the base station.

Possible Cause 4: The base station has been moved to another location.

  • Solution: Move the base station back to its original location, or manually place the robot on the base station to start charging.

Possible Cause 5: The robot's side brush or roller brush is stuck with foreign objects.

  • Solution: Clear the robot's side brush or roller brush to ensure it is free of foreign objects.

Possible Cause 6: The robot's wheels have accumulated dirt and debris, causing the wheels to slip when the robot docks on the base station.

  • Solution: Clean the wheels' rubber tread.

Possible Cause 7: The robot's swivel wheel is stiff and does not rotate smoothly.

  • Solution: Manually rotate the swivel wheel to check if it moves smoothly. If it does not, remove the swivel wheel to clean it.

Possible Cause 8: The small auxiliary wheel under the robot's dirty water tank has fallen off.

  • Solution: Please check if the small auxiliary wheel is missing.

Note:

  • For safety purposes, please always power off the robot and the base station before performing maintenance tasks.
  • Regularly checking and cleaning the robot's components can effectively maintain the robot's cleaning performance.
