1. Reduce the suction level immediately.

2. Check your wearing position (QSG step 1): make sure the nipple is at the center of the flange tunnel

3. Use the Nipple Measurement Card to verify the right insert size. — if nipples rubs against the sides, try a larger sizing insert.  If your areola got pulled into the tunnel, use a smaller size.

4. Try a gentler Flow Curve in the app.

5. For elastic nipples: size down rather than up — elastic nipples stretch deep into the tunnel and usually need a smaller insert.
