Why does my eufy S220 SoloCam fail to detect objects?
If your eufy S220 SoloCam fails to detect objects, please try the following troubleshooting steps to verify if the issue can be resolved.
Please make sure the area you need the camera to detect is within the camera’s field of view and the range does not exceed 26ft/8m. You can also test the motion detection function in the eufy Security app by going to the Devices tab > S220 SoloCam > Camera Settings > Motion Detection > Motion Test Mode.
Please make sure you have enabled the Motion Detection function in Camera Settings.
Please try increasing the motion detection sensitivity level by going to the Devices tab > S220 SoloCam > Camera Settings > Motion Detection > Detection Sensitivity.
Please make sure you have enabled both Video Recording and Notification options in the security mode you have selected. You can verify the settings by going to the Security tab > S220 SoloCam > Home/Away Settings > confirm Video Recording and Notification options are both selected.
