The reason may be due to the crevice tool is not being fully extended, or it is not being used in a proper cleaning scenario.

Please try the following tips:

• Make sure the tool is fully extended until you hear a clicking sound.

• It is not recommended to extend the crevice tool when vacuuming carpets and mats.
