Why is the night vision for my eufy S220 SoloCam either too bright or too dark?
If your S220 SoloCam is unable to show a clear image at night, please try the following troubleshooting steps to verify if the issue can be resolved.
Cleaning the Camera Lens
- It is highly recommended to periodically clean the camera lens. This is due to the reason that the majority of outdoor security cameras are generally exposed to weather elements and dust particles, which could impact the camera lens and cause the image quality to be blurry.
Choosing an Ideal Installation Location
- Please note that installing your S220 SoloCam too close to a wall or light source could cause light reflection at night to affect the image quality. Please visit Night Vision Image Appears Bright White for more information.
- The camera’s image quality also depends on the camera’s installation height and its IR range. Generally, your S220 SoloCam has a night vision that ranges up to 5m/16ft; therefore, the camera may not be able to accurately and clearly detect objects or motion events if they are farther than 5m/16ft away from the camera.
