Please make sure to clean the built-in retractable crevice tool regularly at least once per month. It is also recommended to clean the crevice tool as soon as possible after the vacuum picks up sand to prevent the crevice tool from being trapped with dust, sand, or debris.

To resolve the issue, simply rinse the dust cup and crevice tool and air dry them before using the vacuum again. When cleaning the crevice tool, it is also recommended to extend and retract the built-in retractable crevice tool to rinse it thoroughly.
