My cat drops food into its water bowl.  How will the water fountain handle dry food potentially dissolving in water?

If the food particle is small, it will be filtered by the filters in the water fountain.

 

Are there plans for a WiFi connected water fountain?

It is something we are considering for a future release.

 

Are the various pieces of the fountain somehow locked together to prevent a cat from taking it apart on its own?

Yes, the cover of the pet water fountain can be locked to the fountain's main part.

 

How loud is the unit (in terms of decibels)?

≤30dB at 1 ft (30 cm) distance.

 

How easy is it to clean the water fountain?

What is the price of replacement filters and where can I purchase them?

The price of a 3-pack filters combo will cost less than $30.  You can find it on our Amazon Store.

 

How often do the filters need to be changed?

We recommend changing filters every 2 months.

 

How do I know when to refill the water fountain with no water level indicator?

Please be advised water level is marked on the inside of the fountain.  If water level is lower than the minimum water level, the water pumping out will usually flow at a much slower rate, and there will also be almost no water flow above the fountain.

 

Is this item wireless?

No.  It uses a 1.5m bite-proof charging cable and power adapter for charging purposes.

 

Will the A/C adapter work with 220 volts?

Yes, the A/C adapter works from 100 volts to 240 volts.

 

Do I have to use the filters for the Petcare water fountain to work?

We strongly recommend using filters for the water fountain to filter your pet’s drinking water.

 

Can I completely disassemble the water fountain?

The transparent cover and drinking tray can be disassembled from the water fountain to remove the purification filter, sterilization filter, filter cover, and water pipe from the water fountain.
