The eufyCams are powered by batteries. eufyCam is designed to offer a good balance between battery life and event capturing.

For HomeBase and EufyCam series systems, with Motion Detection, Human Detection technologies built-in, the system can detect and capture the most important events and eliminate unnecessary alerts, such as passing cars and small animals. This can increase efficiency and reduce intrusive alerts. 

Note: 

1. HomeBase E and eufyCam E systems don't support smart detection technology.

2. Indoor Cam supports 7x24 continuous recording, but eufyCam cannot support 7x24 recording.
