What Should I Do If My RoboVac Stops with Error 5? (For iPath navigation models)

RoboVac’s Voice Alert When It Encounters an Issue

eufy’s iPath navigation RoboVac models provide users with an audible voice alert when the RoboVac encounters an issue. In order to correctly troubleshoot and resolve a specific issue with your RoboVac, please first determine the exact voice alert error triggered by the RoboVac.

How Is Voice Alert: Error 5 Triggered?

This error is triggered when the RoboVac is physically stuck. This could be caused by the RoboVac getting trapped in a specific area and is unable to navigate out of the area to continue cleaning.

How Do I Fix Voice Alert: Error 5?

To troubleshoot and fix this specific issue, please follow the steps listed below:

  1. Pause the RoboVac.
  2. Clear any obstacles in the surrounding area where the RoboVac is stuck, or move the RoboVac to another location.
  3. Start the RoboVac to verify it is able to navigate and clean without issues.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please verify the following details:

  • Has the RoboVac always encountered the same issue from the beginning or has the issue occurred recently after using the RoboVac for a while?

Note: If the issue occurred recently after using the RoboVac for a while, please also inspect the RoboVac’s bumper and wheels to make sure the bumper is not stuck and both wheels are also rotating properly with wheel treads that are not worn off.

  • Has the RoboVac always had issues navigating a specific area and not other areas?

Note: If the RoboVac has issues navigating a specific area only, please take a few photos of the location and screenshots of the entire RoboVac map on your eufy Clean app, then contact eufy support team via an email with photos attached.

  • Delete the current map on the RoboVac and then create a new map. Please start the RoboVac from its charging base and let it complete an entire cleaning cycle without manually interfering with the RoboVac in order to create an accurate map.

If you have further questions regarding RoboVac’s voice alerts, please contact us for assistance.
