What's a valid map of RoboVac X8//L35/LR30/LR20/L50/L60 series?

Please note a map that consists of gray color as its base color and white lines is a temporary floor plan map, and not a valid map that has been saved. Usually, the map that has been created and successfully saved will be in color (like the picture below).

In order to create and save a valid map, place RoboVac on the charging base and press the Start button to start Auto Clean. After the RoboVac completes a full cleaning cycle and automatically returns to the charging station, a map will be saved with the rooms divided accordingly.

If your house is multi-floor, please ensure that the multi-map switch is turned on. Otherwise, only one map can be saved. Please note that X8/X8 Hybrid can save up to a maximum of 5 maps. And LR20/LR30/L35/L50/L60 series can save up to a maximum of 3 maps.

Additionally, if the RoboVac starts cleaning from an original point in Auto Clean mode on a different floor(without the charging base and power adapter) and returns to the same place where it started cleaning, you will receive an app notification asking whether you would like to save the current map since the eufy Clean app will not save the map automatically in this case.

If the multi-map switch is not turned on, there is a message to remind you when there is already a previously saved map, and the vacuum cleaned in a new environment (in this case, a new floor). After the RoboVac completes a full cleaning cycle, the app will display the new map found, along with an option for you to decide whether you would like to save the new map or keep the original map.
