What should I do if the self-emptying feature does not work for my RoboVac L35 series/LR30 series?

The RoboVac L35 series/LR30 series can work with the self-empty station. For the L35 Hybrid and LR30 Hybrid, please make sure to use the correct dust collector and water tank for them to work with the self-empty station. You can order it here.

How does the self-emptying feature work?

  • The self-emptying feature is enabled by default. When you enable this feature, RoboVac will return to the self-empty station at the end of a cleaning cycle or when its battery is running low.
  • The power cord of the self-empty station should be connected to a wall outlet.

Note:

  • The self-emptying feature will not work during "Do Not Disturb" time periods.
  • The mopping module on the bottom of the RoboVac needs to be removed.
  • A cleaning cycle is defined by the RoboVac having already cleaned an area of at least one square meter or running for at least one minute.
  • Users can set the number of cleaning cycles RoboVac will clean before the self-emptying feature starts. Please refer to the following screenshots:

What can I do if the self-emptying feature does not work?

  1. When RoboVac only goes back to the self-empty station to recharge without emptying its dust collector.
  • Please make sure to remove the mopping module on the bottom of the Robovac.

How to install and remove the mopping module for RoboVac L35/LR30 Series?

  • Please disable the "Do Not Disturb" mode or change the "Do Not Disturb" mode time period via the eufy Clean app.
  • When you activate the Auto-Return Cleaning feature via the eufy Clean app, the RoboVac will return to the self-empty station to empty its dust collector, then recharge itself on its first return. When the battery power reaches 80%, the RoboVac will return to the same place where it left off to continue cleaning. Please note that the RoboVac will automatically resume cleaning only once, and it will not resume cleaning when it returns to the self-empty station to recharge itself on its second return.
  • It is also highly recommended to enable the "Activity Log Upload" feature via the eufy Clean app in order for eufy engineers to further analyze the issue.

What's the "Log Upload" feature in the eufy Clean App?

  1. RoboVac keeps failing to properly dock on the self-empty station and the self-emptying feature cannot be activated.
  • Please check whether the indicator light display on the self-empty station is normal (solid blue indicator light) and confirm whether the dust bag is correctly installed.
  • Please confirm whether the contact pin between the dust collector and the RoboVac is deformed or dirty, and clean the contact pin with a dry cloth. If the pin on the dust collector appears deformed, it is recommended to replace the dust collector to resolve the issue. You can order it here.

  • It is also highly recommended to enable the "Activity Log Upload" feature via the eufy Clean app in order for eufy engineers to further analyze the issue.
  1. RoboVac is not self-emptying when it is properly docked on the self-empty station.
  • If you are able to hear suction noises coming from the self-empty station but the dust collector is not being emptied, please check the self-empty station's filter to make sure it is properly installed.

  • Check whether the self-empty station's channel, hole and dust bucket are blocked. Please refer to the following photos for the locations of the channel, hole, and dust bucket.
