Firstly, please manually move your S1 and S1 Pro robot to the desired area on a different floor. If the robot does not have a pre-existing map of this new area, it will automatically attempt to locate itself using its stored maps. Should the S1 and S1 Pro robot fail to locate itself using one of the stored maps, it will automatically initiate a new mapping process to create a new layout of the area before it begins its cleaning session.

In the case of mopping, the S1 and S1 Pro robot requires a slightly different approach. The robot will need to first complete the process of moistening its mopping pads and leave its Uniclean™ Station. Once this preparation step is done, you can then manually move the robot to the targeted area on another floor. By doing so, the S1 and S1 Pro robot is ready to start mopping the floor immediately.

Additionally, it is important to note that while the S1 and S1 Pro robot is capable of adapting to new environments, it cannot navigate stairs or move between floors on its own. Manual intervention is necessary to help the robot transition from one floor to another. With these simple steps, you can easily enjoy a clean home across multiple floors with minimal effort!
