eufy RoboVac X8 and X8 Hybrid can save up to 5 maps, which is ideal for users who have a multi-story house.
Note: Please visit An Introduction to the Map Function of the X8/X8 Hyrbid for detailed information on how to create a map for the first time.
Please follow the steps below to create a second map on your RoboVac X8/X8 Hybrid.
Step 1)
In order to create a second map on your RoboVac X8/X8 Hybrid, please first launch the EufyHome app and tap on the RoboVac X8/X8 Hybrid icon, then select “Edit Map”.
Step 2)
Under the Edit Map settings, please select “Manage Map”.
Step 3)
Under the Manage Map settings, please make sure the “Multi-map Saving” function is enabled. If it is currently disabled, please enable it.
Step 4)
After the “Mult-map Saving” function has been enabled, your RoboVac X8/X8 Hybrid is now ready to create a new map without overwriting or deleting the existing map. Simply bring both the RoboVac and its charging base to a new floor where you would like to create a new map and follow the directions below.
Before running the RoboVac:
- Plug the charging base into a wall outlet and then place the RoboVac on its charging base.
- Open the doors to all of the rooms that you would like the RoboVac to clean.
- Manually pick up objects on the floor that may trap/entangle the RoboVac when it cleans the floor.
- Start the RoboVac on its charging base using the Auto cleaning mode.
While the RoboVac is running its full cleaning cycle to build a map:
- Please do not manually interfere with the RoboVac.
- Allow the RoboVac to return to its charging base automatically after it has completed its cleaning cycle.
Once you have successfully created a second map, you can then choose from the list of available maps by going to Edit Map > Manage Map > swipe in the right and the left direction to browse your maps.
