Our battery powered eufyCams work best when mounted in a proper location, preferably free of wireless or other kinds of interference. These instructions are for the following eufyCam models:
- eufyCam Original
- eufyCam E
- eufyCam 2
- eufyCam 2c
- eufyCam 2 Pro
- eufyCam 2c Pro
Where can I mount my eufyCam?
Outdoor mounting:
eufyCams are designed specifically for an outdoor environment. It is recommended that you mount the eufyCam 7-10ft (2-3m) above the ground, with a downward angle of no more than 30°; failure to properly mount the camera will result in the camera not being able to to detect motion, either at all or at the maximum range.
Avoid mounting the eufyCam in areas where it will receive direct sunlight in order to maximize the detection capabilities. Also, avoid mounting the camera so that walls or eaves are directly in the camera’s field of view, as it will impact night vision due to infrared light reflection.
Indoor mounting:
The following cameras come with magnetic mounts to be used indoors:
- eufyCam Original
- eufyCam E
- eufyCam 2
- eufyCam 2 Pro
Please be advised, eufyCam 2C and eufyCam 2C Pro do not have the ability to be mounted magnetically.
