What is a widget?
Android phones have a special feature called “widgets”; these can be used to control the main functions of smart devices from the home screen without having to open the app first. Basically, they are like a quick access remote control for your smart devices.
What advantages are there to using a widget with the RoboVac?
The widget feature for any Wi-Fi-capable RoboVac allows the user to start their Robovac and return it to the charging station, all without opening the app directly, in order to save time.
Do I have to use the widget in order to control the RoboVac?
No, you may either start the RoboVac from the app, the widget or by pressing the start button on the vacuum itself.
How do I set up a widget?
To set up a widget, first, go to the top left menu in the eufy Clean App > Widget settings > Select RoboVac (if you have multiple eufy appliance device types) > Select the RoboVac you would like a widget for. From there, you should be able to use your widget on the home screen, as shown below.
In addition, here are the steps about how to add RoboVac to your widget list.
- Long press the blank space of your phone desktop.
- Click on "Widgets".
- Find the "eufy Clean" widget, long press and drag it to any position on the desktop, and release your finger.
- After adding, you can adjust the size of the widget to fit the screen display effect.
