Optimal Environmental Conditions

• Ambient temperature between 32°F/0°C to 104°F/40°C.

• Avoid placing the camera in direct sunlight to prevent damage or performance issues.

Camera Mounting Tips

1. Recommended Height for Clear Facial Visibility:

   • Mount the camera at a height of less than 2.6ft/80cm to capture clear views of visitors' faces as they approach the camera.

2. Monitoring Children, Babies, or Pets:

   • Position the camera about 2ft/60cm away to ensure children, babies, or pets remain within the camera's field of view.

3. For Better Zoom Performance:

   • Install the camera at least 8ft/2.5m from the monitoring area for clearer visibility of people or pets, even from a distance.

4. Monitoring Through a Window or Glass (Not Recommended):

   • Place the camera lens flush against the window or glass to minimize reflections and glare.

Adjusting the Monitoring Area

After mounting the camera, we recommended fine-tuning its view and settings using the eufy Security app to ensure optimal coverage.
