If your S1 Pro robot emits a squeaking noise during its cleaning session or when you manually press the robot's wheels, please try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
First, please do not immediately disrupt the robot's cleaning session by manually checking the robot to locate the root cause of the squeaking noise; it is recommended that you let the robot clean normally on the floor and observe whether it still emits any unusual noises during its cleaning session.
Then, please proceed with the following troubleshooting steps:
- Check the rolling brush guard and the rolling brush.
- Remove the rolling brush guard and the rolling brush.
- Set the robot to single sweep mode and run it once.
- If the noise disappears, the issue is most certainly caused by the rolling brush guard.
- Switch the robot to mopping mode.
- If the robot still emits a squeaking noise after completing the first step of troubleshooting, please switch the robot to mopping mode and run it.
- If the robot no longer emits a squeaking noise in mopping mode, the root cause of the issue is most likely caused by the robot's swivel wheel. Please note that the robot's swivel wheel may emit a knocking noise when it crosses tile grout, and it is a common phenomenon with all robot vacuum cleaners on the market.
- Replace the robot's wheels.
- After performing the above two troubleshooting steps, replacing the robot's wheels is recommended if the robot continues to emit a squeaking noise during its cleaning session.
