Introducing the Self-Cleaning Function on the WetVac W31

Self-cleaning steps

After using the vacuum, simply place the WetVac back on the charging base and press the self-cleaning button for the WetVac to start self-cleaning. It will take a while and you will hear a voice prompt when the process is completed.

Please note the self-cleaning function can be activated only when the WetVac is placed on the charging base.

If the self-cleaning mode cannot be started on the charging base, please verify the following details:

  1. Make sure the water level in the clean water tank exceeds 50%, otherwise please fill up the clean water tank.
  2. Make sure the battery level is higher than 30%, otherwise please charge the WetVac until the battery level reaches 30% to start self-cleaning.

The self-cleaning process includes two steps, which take a total of 180 seconds.

Step 1 self-cleaning and Step 2 self-drying start at the same time. Self-cleaning will last for 75 seconds while self-drying will last for 180 seconds. There are voice prompts and screen prompts respectively.

During Step 1 self-cleaning, clean water continues to spray on the rolling brush as the brush rotates, then water stops spraying while the brush continues to rotate. It takes a total of 75 seconds.

During Step 2 self-drying, it starts at the same time as the self-cleaning starts and lasts for 180 seconds. After the self-cleaning ends and the rolling brush stops rotating, the drying process continues. There is no physical movement at this time, but the drying icon on the LED screen will still be shown. After self-drying is completed, the rolling brush is basically already dry. However, if you touch the rolling brush bristle root and feel the roots are slightly damp, you can remove the rolling brush and dry it completely.
