If you are experiencing issues with obstacle avoidance functions, such as side brush or rolling brush error messages, laser sensor error messages, lack of signal communication along walls, and other similar problems, we recommend the following troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue:

1. When operating on bare floors, the robot can avoid obstacles with a minimum height of 15mm; on carpets, it can recognize obstacles with a minimum height of 25mm. If there are objects on the floor taller than 15mm, the robot may roll these objects into its rolling brush, causing the brush to get stuck and rendering the robot unable to work. Therefore, small objects (like small building blocks, hard plastic pieces, data cables, or socks lying flat) need to be put away; otherwise, they will be beyond the robot's recognition range.

2. When the robot is cleaning small mats, because the small mats are too light and thin, this can cause carpets to be rolled into the rolling brush, causing the rolling brush to become stuck. It is recommended to secure the small mats with 3M tape or set up no-go zones.

3. When the robot is cleaning light and thin carpets with long fibers, due to the strong suction of the E20, the carpet may be sucked into the roller brush chamber, causing increased resistance and making the roller brush stall. In such cases, you can individually set the suction mode for that area to "Silent" or "Standard" to reduce the suction power. This operation will not affect cleaning performance.

4. To clean hair, the robot uses active comb teeth that, during the dust collection process, comb out the hair from the rolling brush and then suck it into the dust bag. When there are many family members and pets, it may exceed the capacity of the E20 rolling brush. If a large amount of hair becomes entangled on the rolling brush, it will increase resistance, leading to error reports and causing the robot to stop working. Therefore, you need to set a higher dust collection frequency in the app, such as once every 15 minutes, and set the dust collection mode to deep dust collection.

5. Check whether the robot's rolling brush is properly installed. If it is not installed correctly, you need to reinstall the rolling brush cover properly, ensuring that both side clasps make a clicking sound.

6. When the robot passes over the edges of certain carpets, if the carpet is lifted, it can cause the side brush to enter gaps, increasing resistance and resulting in a side brush error. It is recommended to flatten any lifted areas of the carpet.

When the robot crosses a threshold of 2cm, it may not overcome the obstacle smoothly, leading to increased resistance on the side brush and causing a side brush error. It is advisable to place a mat in front of the threshold to reduce its height.

When the robot is cleaning around irregular or uneven furniture such as U-shaped chairs, bar chairs, fan bases, and similar items, the side brush may catch on the edges, increasing resistance and resulting in a side brush error. If such errors occur, it is recommended to set this area as a no-go zone to prevent errors.

7. When the robot's front and side linear laser modules are blocked or contaminated with dirt, it may lead to a loss of linear laser obstacle avoidance performance. In such cases, you need to use a wet tissue to clean the lenses. may decreasethe lenses must be cleaned with
