What should I do if my S1 robot gets stuck?

The S1 robot may sometimes get stuck during its cleaning sessions, which not only affects the robot's cleaning efficiency but may also damage the robot. Please refer to the following common scenarios where the robot may get stuck and their corresponding solutions.

Scenario 1: The robot's LiDAR sensor is blocked or the robot gets stuck in an open environment

Solution:

  1. Check if there is any dust, foreign objects, or pet hair blocking the LiDAR window of the robot. If there is, you can use a hair dryer to blow it clean.

  2. Regularly clean the LiDAR window to ensure its normal operation.

Scenario 2: The robot gets stuck after hitting the wall in a forward collision

Solution:

  1. Observe which areas in the home are prone to causing the robot to hit the wall and get stuck, especially areas that have a lower height clearance.

  2. Set "No-go" zones to prevent the robot from entering areas where it tends to get stuck.

Scenario 3: The robot gets trapped in certain areas

Solution:

  1. If the robot often gets stuck under the chair legs, it is recommended to set "No-go" zones to block off those areas.

  2. If there is a distance of 10-20 cm between the carpet and the wall, it is recommended to move the carpet and place it against the wall to avoid the robot from getting stuck in a small space.

If your robot encounters any other issues besides the above scenarios, please provide the following information for us to further analyze and resolve the issues:

  • A video or photo showing the robot's stuck position and its surrounding environment.

  • Launch the eufy Clean app and proceed to Settings > tap the "Robovac" icon > Device Info > Copy Device Information.

Then, please return to Settings > Robot Settings > enable the "Activity Log Upload" feature.

If you have any other questions regarding the S1 robot, please don't hesitate to contact us for further assistance.
