The X8 Pro is equipped with an onboard water tank and mop pad holder. Once you fill the water tank and install the mop pad holder, the X8 Pro is ready to mop your floors. However, it lacks the capability to identify carpets and automatically lift its mop pad.

However, the X8 Pro series has a feature that allows you to set up “no-mop zones” to prevent any unwanted mopping on your carpets or rugs.

To set up "no-mop zones" in the eufy Clean app, please simply click the map icon on the top right corner, and then click the No-Go Zone icon to enter the No-Go zone settings page to set up a "no-mop zone" by creating a square to cover a specific area on the map. Do not forget to click the √ icon to save your "no-mop zone" after creating it.

If your cleaning needs are solely focused on vacuuming, you can simply detach the mop pad holder.

Additionally, the X8 Pro SES is equipped with a Self-Empty Station that features a 2.5L bacteriostatic dust bag. This dust bag securely seals pet hair and debris, providing you with a truly hands-free cleaning experience for up to 45 days.
