The robot uses a damp-wiping system in which the mopping pad applies consistent downward pressure to the floor, helping improve cleaning coverage and overall mopping performance.

However, mopping performance may be affected in certain situations, including:

• Stubborn stains (such as oil, coffee, or dried mud marks): These stains may require manual pre-treatment and additional mopping passes to achieve better results.

• A dirty or saturated mopping pad during cleaning: If the pad becomes heavily soiled or saturated partway through a cleaning cycle, later areas may be wiped with a less effective pad.

• Sand or gritty debris on the floor: During mopping, the Omni C30 Edge automatically reduces suction power to help prevent moisture from being drawn into the robot. As a result, loose particles may not be fully removed during the mopping process.

Recommended Solutions

1. Pre-Treat Stubborn Stains

For dried or set-in stains, use a damp cloth to loosen the residue before starting a mopping cycle. This helps the robot achieve better cleaning results during normal operation.

2. Enable Frequent Pad Washing

Turn on the Frequent Pad Washing setting in the eufy app. With this feature enabled, the robot will return to the base station at scheduled intervals to wash the mopping pad, helping maintain cleaning effectiveness throughout the entire cycle.

3. Vacuum Before Mopping on Floors with Grit or Sand

If the floor contains sand, dirt particles, or other granular debris, run a vacuum-only cleaning cycle first. After removing loose debris, switch to mopping mode for a more effective mopping performance.

4. Maintain the Mopping Pad Regularly

Remove and clean the mopping pad after every 8-10 uses to help maintain optimal mopping performance. Replace or clean the pad as needed if it becomes excessively dirty or worn.

5. Use eufy Official Cleaning Solution

For improved mopping performance, add eufy official cleaning solution according to the recommended dilution ratio of 1:66.
