This article provides detailed instructions for connecting a Matter device to Google Home through the eufy app. Additionally, it outlines the key functions currently available through Google Home.

Adding Matter Devices to Google Home

1. Ensure you have a compatible hub that has been added to the Google Home app. [Refer to the list of supported hubs.]

2. Confirm the Matter device has been added in the eufy app.

3. In the eufy app, navigate to Device Page > Settings > Works with Matter > Connect to Third-party Ecosystem > Google Home > Start pairing.

4. Open the Google Home app on your smartphone or tablet.

   1. For iPhone users, please note that your iOS system must be version 16.1 or higher.

5. Select "Add."

6. Select “Matter-enabled device.”

7. Scan the device’s Matter QR code.

Functions supported by Google Home

1. Lock/unlock with the Google Home app.

2. Lock by voice command with Google Nest.

   1. Note: The Unlocking function is not currently supported.

3. Check the status of the Smart Lock.

4. Check the battery level of the Smart Lock.
