If your Permanent Outdoor Lights S4 light strip is not lighting up, please check the following potential causes and solutions:
-
Incomplete Calibration After Connecting Additional Light Strips
The Permanent Outdoor Lights S4 currently supports only two methods for detecting the total length of connected light strips:
-
Automatically upon initial power-up.
-
Manually through the Calibration feature.
Issue:
If you connect additional light strips without first powering off the Permanent Outdoor Lights S4 or manually calibrating it, the newly added light strips may not light up, as the controller has not detected their presence.
Solution:
-
Power off the Permanent Outdoor Lights S4 completely.
-
Reconnect all light strips securely.
-
Power the Permanent Outdoor Lights S4 back on to trigger automatic detection. Alternatively, use the manual Calibration feature through the eufy app or controller.
-
Loose or Damaged Light Strip Connector
Issue:
The light strip may not light up if the connector is not securely plugged in or if it is damaged.
Solution:
-
Ensure that all connectors are fully and securely inserted.
-
Inspect the connectors for any signs of physical damage (e.g., bent pins, frayed wires).
-
If damaged, replace the connector or contact eufy Support Engineers for further assistance.
