Usage Tips
1. Improve Edge Cutting
· Safe Distance: Avoid edges with obstacles, ditches, or cliffs. Ride-On-Edge is not suitable for these areas, so manual trimming is required.
· Adjust Ride-On-Edge Spacing for closer cutting.
· Wall-Edge Trimming: Grass within 10 cm (4 in) of walls may need manual trimming.
2. Optimize Mowing Performance
· Boundary Setup: Use physical barriers or set virtual walls after mapping for unclear boundaries with neighbors.
· Mowing Zones: Manually set mowing zones for full coverage, especially for yellowed or patchy lawns or around manhole covers.
· Cutting Height: For tall grass, lower the blade height gradually.
· Multi-Zone Pathway: Set up if the distance between lawn areas is ≤60 m (65.62 yd).
· No-Go Zones: Mark areas where the mower may get stuck.
3. Battery Usage & Maintenance
· Coverage per Charge: Approx. 150–190 m² (0.037–0.047 ac). Actual coverage may vary based on mowing settings and environmental conditions.
· Resume Mowing: Automatically resumes unfinished tasks after charging.
· Base Station Placement: Keep the charging cable 30 cm (12 in) above ground to prevent water damage.
· Software Updates: Update firmware regularly.
4. Safety Tips
· The robot mower camera has a 96° horizontal FOV and 80° vertical FOV. For safety, avoid standing in blind spots at the sides or behind the mower during operation.
