If you are not satisfied with the automatic room division on the map, you can adjust it manually with the room editing feature, which lets you merge, divide, and rename rooms, and expand the map.

1. Merge rooms: You can merge two or more adjacent rooms. Rooms that are not adjacent cannot be merged, and the Merge button is grayed out and cannot be tapped. To merge rooms, go to the map page, tap Edit Map > Merge, tap the adjacent rooms, and then tap Confirm.

2. Divide a room: You can select one room and divide it into two by adjusting the dividing line. The line must cross the selected room. If the line is too short or does not touch the room, the change cannot be saved. To divide a room, tap Edit Map > Divide, tap the room you want to divide, adjust the dividing line when it appears (the line must intersect the room you want to divide), and then tap Confirm.
3. Rename a room: After mapping is complete, the rooms on the map are first named automatically in the format "type + number":

   1. Type: If the room type can be identified, the room is named after its type (for example, Kitchen or Living Room). If the room type cannot be identified, the room is named Room.

   2. Number: When there are multiple rooms of the same type (whether the type is known or unknown), the rooms are numbered in sequence, for example: Kitchen1, Kitchen2, ... or Room1, Room2, ...

4. You can manually change the room type and the room name. To rename a room, tap Edit Map > Rename and select the room you want to rename.
5. Expand the map: Map Expansion adds to the map coverage, so the robot can recognize and cover more unexplored areas. It solves the problem of rooms missed or incomplete map boundaries during the initial mapping, and helps you gradually improve the map coverage of your home. When running a map expansion task, the robot uses a fixed cleaning strategy: Vacuum Only mode, quick cleaning intensity, Quiet suction, and cleaning performed only once, so that the new area can be explored with minimal disturbance. To expand the map, tap Edit Map > Map Expansion, select the area to be expanded, tap Add to add more than one area, and then tap Start to begin the expansion.
