What Should I Do If My S2 Robot Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi or Shows Offline

If your S2 robot cannot connect to Wi-Fi or appears offline in the app, please refer to the Wi-Fi setup guide [Video: https://youtu.be/rcIlnU3tExo] or follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.

Step 1: Check the Wi-Fi Name and Password

  • Confirm that the Wi-Fi network name and password are entered correctly.

  • Pay close attention to any spaces before or after characters.

  • Remove extra spaces and try connecting again.

Step 2: Verify the Wi-Fi Frequency

  • The S2 robot supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks only.

  • 5GHz Wi-Fi networks are not compatible.

  • Please ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz signal.

Step 3: Avoid Special Characters in the Wi-Fi Name

  • Wi-Fi names containing symbols or special characters may cause connection failures.

  • Rename your Wi-Fi network using only letters and numbers, then attempt pairing again.

Step 4: Ensure Bluetooth Is Enabled

  • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone during the setup process.

  • Bluetooth is required to assist with the initial pairing.

Step 5: Check the Robot’s Indicator Light

  • Verify that the robot’s circular indicator light is fast-flashing white, which indicates it is ready for Wi-Fi pairing.

Step 6: Reduce Router Load

  • Temporarily disconnect other devices connected to your router.

  • Retry connecting the robot to reduce network congestion.

Step 7: Check Signal Strength and Distance

  • Place the robot, router, and smartphone close to one another during setup.

  • Confirm that your phone can connect to the internet normally using the same Wi-Fi network.

Step 8: Reset the Robot’s Wi-Fi Settings

  • Press and hold the Clean button and Return to Base button simultaneously for 3 seconds to reset the Wi-Fi configuration.

  • After resetting, repeat the pairing process.

Step 9: Verify the App Version

  • Ensure the app is updated to the latest version.

  • Older versions may not correctly display or detect available Wi-Fi networks.

Step 10: Test with a Mobile Hotspot

  • Attempt to connect the robot using a mobile phone hotspot.

  • If the connection is successful, please enable logs in the app and contact our support team for further analysis.

If you have any additional questions or need further assistance with your S2 robot, please do not hesitate to contact our support team.
