Firmware updates are a normal part of product improvements and software maintenance. Occasional update failures are usually caused by Wi-Fi connectivity, battery level, or network conditions rather than a hardware problem.
Troubleshooting Steps
Step 1: Complete the Pre-Update Checks
Before starting the firmware update, make sure the following conditions are met:
-
The battery level is at least 30%.
-
The Omni E35 is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
-
The eufy app is updated to the latest version.
-
The robot is placed on the base station.
-
The network connection is stable.
Step 2: Restart the Robot and Retry
If the firmware update fails or becomes stuck, power off the Omni E35 and wait approximately 30 seconds. Then power it back on, place it on the base station, and try the firmware update again.
Step 3: Try Additional Troubleshooting
If the update continues to fail, move the Omni E35 closer to the router to improve the Wi-Fi connection. If you are using a VPN on your phone, turn it off before trying the update again. You can also try updating the firmware using a different phone.
Step 4: Contact eufy Customer Support
If the firmware update continues to fail after completing the troubleshooting steps above, please contact eufy Customer Support for further assistance.
If you have any other questions about the Omni E35, please don't hesitate to contact eufy Support Center for further assistance.
