The Omni E35 uses its body height to determine whether it can pass underneath furniture. When the clearance is very close to the robot’s height, the robot may misjudge the gap as passable and become stuck. This is most likely to occur when the furniture clearance is within the 10-12 cm range.
Troubleshooting Steps
Step 1: Free the Robot
If the Omni E35 is stuck:
-
Power off the robot.
-
Carefully pull the robot out from under the furniture.
-
Check the roller brush, side brush, and bumper for signs of damage.
-
Place the robot on an open floor and restart it.
Step 2: Measure the Clearance
Use a ruler to measure the distance from the floor to the bottom of the furniture.
-
Omni E35: Approximately 11.5 cm
If the clearance is less than 1 cm above the robot’s height, the robot may be able to pass through the gap under some conditions but become stuck under others.
Step 3: Choose a Solution
Solution A: Set a No-Go Zone
This is the recommended solution. Use the eufy app to create a no-go zone around the furniture area where the robot may become stuck. This prevents the Omni E35 from attempting to enter the area.

Solution B: Use Furniture Risers
Raise the furniture legs by approximately 2-5 cm using suitable furniture risers. This increases clearance and may allow the robot to clean underneath the furniture safely.
Related Question
Q1: Why does the Omni E35 try to enter spaces it cannot fit through?
Some gaps are so close to the robot’s height that there is very little clearance for error. If the floor is slightly uneven or a rug shifts position, a space that initially appears to be passable can become too narrow and cause the robot to get stuck. In these situations, the robot may attempt to clean the area rather than avoid it.
